Welcome to BAR BRETON BREC'H, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Brech, France. Located at 6 Rue Georges Cadoudal, this charming family-run creperie offers an authentic taste of Brittany that’s hard to forget. From the moment you step inside, you're welcomed with warm hospitality that feels more like a reunion with old friends than a visit to a restaurant. Whether you’re a local or a traveler wandering off the beaten path, Bar Breton Brec'h is worth a dedicated stop.
The star of the menu is undoubtedly their galettes, each crafted with precision and brimming with local flavors. Rucksack Foodie describes them as “the most delicious” in all of Brittany, and it’s easy to see why. These savory buckwheat crepes serve as a canvas for an array of fillings, letting the fresh, local ingredients shine. Pair your meal with a selection of ciders and beers, showcasing the best of Breton brews, enhancing your culinary experience.
As you savor each bite, you may find yourself enchanted by the sounds of traditional music wafting through the air. Jean-Christophe Reginster shared his delightful experience of witnessing a local concert, where children danced and giggled in delight. This immersive atmosphere makes dining here feel like a cultural celebration, making every visit special and memorable. With friendly and attentive staff to cater to your every need, you are ensured an exceptional dining experience.
And let’s not forget the aesthetics! Mark Cushing admired even the restrooms, noting them as “a work of art.” This attention to detail reflects the owners' commitment to creating a welcoming and visually appealing space. The vintage decor complements the homey vibe, making you feel right at home as you feast on these culinary delights.
For those looking to extend their visit, Bar Breton Brec'h also offers a cozy stay in their vintage BnB. With spacious rooms and a shared bathroom, it serves as the perfect base for exploring the picturesque landscapes surrounding Brech. Gabriele Bortot found that despite being slightly off the tourist trail, the nearby cities of Vannes and Lorient are easily accessible, adding to the allure of this lovely spot.
In a world where dining often feels rushed and impersonal, BAR BRETON BREC'H stands out as a beacon of warmth and authenticity. Whether you're indulging in their delicious galettes, sipping on local cider, or simply soaking in the atmosphere, every moment spent here is a reminder of what true hospitality and great food should feel like. This is not just a restaurant; it's an experience, a memory, and a reason to celebrate the rich culture of Brittany!

The most charming little family run creperie with the most delicious galettes and local ciders & beers, we found in all of Brittany! Off the beaten path a bit but SO WORTH IT! On a beautiful winding backroad that is part of an important Breton pilgrim trail, in a quaint idyllic village. Their hospitality was beyond excellent, we felt we made new friends. The night of our visit there were local traditional singers gathered for dinner and invited us to dance with them , a memory we’ll never forget! And it felt as if we were in some small irish village !! Their vintage bnb was like staying with family, with huge rooms, shared bathroom for our group and VERY clean. A great location to base out of for a few days exploration. This place alone, is a reason to go to Brittany!

We stayed here for a night and our stay was great! The host offered us a delicious breakfast in the morning and even though the place might look far fromajor city such vannes and Lorient, they are actually all reachable in 20inute drive. Great stop!

We didn't stay there, it's was to eat but it was excellent and to top it off, there was a small traditional music concert. The kids were mesmerized and loved it! They also serve superior cider

Not a hotel but a bar and a crêperie attached. Really nice find, very nice place, good location and terrace. Run by women only by the looks of it, all very pleasant and welcoming. The galettes are very good, good quality ingredients too. Has an Irish music evening every last Sunday of the month. You won't be disappointed if you stop there!
